How to Prepare

Prepare for Your Cold Plunge

For those new to cold plunges, you can build your tolerance by taking brief dips (around 30 seconds) or incorporating regular cold showers. Begin with a warm shower and conclude with five minutes of cold exposure. This gradual approach will assist in developing greater immunity to the cold.

Kindly take a shower before attending the Cold Plunge to ensure your skin is fresh and free from lotions, perfumes, and deodorant.

Suggested time in the Cold Plunge is 1-3 minutes.

Please bring a bathing suite, towel and loose-fitting attire to make it easier to put your clothes back on after the session. This ensures a more comfortable post-dip experience.

Feel free to bring a travel mug for the provided tea after your plunge. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring your preferred beverage with you if you would rather.

Prepare for Your Sauna Experience

Stay hydrated: It is highly recommended to drink ample water both before and during your sauna session to ensure proper hydration.

Remove makeup: Enhance the cleansing effects on your pores and glands, as well as the elimination of toxins and impurities, by removing makeup before entering the sauna.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing: Opt for loose-fitting attire to make it easier to put your clothes back on after the session. This ensures a more comfortable post-sauna experience.

Avoid heavy meals 60-90 minutes prior: Refrain from consuming a large meal immediately before your sauna session to prevent blood from being directed to the stomach for digestion. This helps maintain the full benefits of the sauna and preserves your heat tolerance.

Bring your water bottle: While water is provided, having your own water bottle is recommended for personal convenience during and after the sauna session.
