I invite you to begin the journey inward allowing you to discover your intrinsic self

Yoga – To Join, To Yoke, To Unite –  Connection of Mind, Body and Breath.

I, like many, started my yoga journey using it as a method of physical exercise.  This journey started over 20 years ago and has since grown into a practice I hold close to my heart. It is more than just physical movement, it is a practice that allows me to connect with my true self.  My passion for yoga has inspired me to share the practice with those who become a part of my life.  I am a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and am certified in Yin Yoga (level  1 and 2),  Restorative Yoga and Pre and Post Natal Yoga.

My journey has lead me to expand my knowledge into the energetic world. I am not only a Certified Yoga Teacher but a Certified Reiki Practitioner, a Certified Emotion Code Practitioner and a Clinical Aromatherapist.  In addition to these modalities, I am also a Cold Water Therapy Practitioner .  I invite you to explore my website for more information on these healing modalities and check out my workshops.

I look forward to getting to know you and to share how yoga and energy healing can help you to manifest the life you have always wanted.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to book an appointment.

Cold Water Therapy / Infared Sauna

Cold Water Therapy

Cold water therapy involves exposing the body to cold water for various health benefits. It can be done through cold showers, ice baths, rivers, lakes etc. While individual responses may vary, some potential benefits of cold water therapy include:

  1. Reduced Inflammation: Cold water therapy may help to reduce inflammation by constricting blood vessels and decreasing blood flow to affected areas. This can be beneficial for managing inflammatory conditions or recovering from injuries.
  2. Muscle Recovery: Athletes often use cold water therapy to help with muscle recovery after intense exercise. The cold water may aid in reducing muscle soreness and speeding up the recovery process by minimizing inflammation and promoting better blood circulation.
  3. Pain Relief: Cold water therapy may provide relief from certain types of pain, such as joint pain and muscle aches. The cold temperature can numb the nerve endings, decreasing the perception of pain.
  4. Improved Circulation: Exposure to cold water can cause blood vessels to constrict and then dilate, which may enhance overall blood circulation. Improved circulation is associated with better cardiovascular health.
  5. Enhanced Mood and Alertness: Cold water exposure can stimulate the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good hormones. This can lead to an improved mood and increased alertness. Cold showers, in particular, are sometimes used as a quick energy boost.
  6. Boosted Immune System: Some studies suggest that regular exposure to cold water may help stimulate the production of white blood cells, which play a key role in the immune system. This could potentially strengthen the immune response.
  7. Improved Sleep: Cold water therapy may have a positive impact on sleep by promoting relaxation and reducing stress. The drop in body temperature after exposure to cold water can mimic the body’s natural cooling process during the sleep cycle.
  8. Weight Loss and Metabolism: Cold exposure may activate brown fat, a type of fat that burns calories to generate heat. This could potentially contribute to weight loss and an increase in metabolism.
  9. Skin Health: Cold water can help tighten the pores on the skin and improve circulation, potentially contributing to healthier-looking skin. Some individuals find that cold water therapy can help reduce symptoms of skin conditions like eczema.

It’s essential to note that while many people find cold water therapy beneficial, it may not be suitable for everyone. Individuals with certain medical conditions, such as Raynaud’s disease or cardiovascular issues, should consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating cold water therapy into their routine. Additionally, individual responses to cold exposure can vary, so it’s essential to listen to your body and start gradually if you decide to try cold water therapy.

Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas are a modern take on the traditional sauna experience, utilizing infrared heaters to emit radiant heat that is directly absorbed by the body. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared saunas heat your body directly, providing a more comfortable and efficient experience.

Key Features and Benefits:

  1. Detoxification: Infrared saunas are known for promoting detoxification by increasing your core body temperature. This helps the body eliminate toxins through sweat, leading to a cleaner and healthier system.
  2. Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The gentle warmth of infrared heat promotes relaxation and helps reduce stress. It can also soothe sore muscles and joints, providing a therapeutic experience.
  3. Improved Circulation: Infrared saunas stimulate blood flow, which can lead to improved circulation. This is beneficial for cardiovascular health and may help reduce the risk of certain medical conditions.
  4. Weight Loss and Metabolism Boost: Regular use of infrared saunas may contribute to weight loss by increasing heart rate and calorie expenditure. The heat can also speed up metabolic processes.
  5. Pain Relief: Infrared heat has been found to alleviate chronic pain conditions such as arthritis and muscle soreness. The penetrating heat helps relax muscles and reduce inflammation.
  6. Skin Health: The radiant heat from infrared saunas can improve skin tone and complexion. It opens up pores, cleanses the skin, and promotes a healthy glow.

Benefits of Hot/Cold Exposure

  1. Immune System Support:
    • Both hot and cold exposure may stimulate the immune system, promoting overall health.
  2. Mental Well-being:
    • Alternating between hot and cold exposures, such as in saunas and cold plunges, may have positive effects on mental well-being, including stress reduction and improved mood.
  3. Improved Circulatory Health:
    • The combination of hot and cold exposure may promote cardiovascular health by improving circulation and enhancing blood vessel function. As we enter the cold, our blood vessels constrict and when we enter the heat, our blood vessels dilate. This creates a pump-like effect which supports the well being of our circulatory system.

It’s important to practice hot and cold exposures safely and avoid extremes that could lead to injury or adverse effects. Individual preferences and tolerance levels vary, so finding the right balance for your body is key. If you have any health concerns or medical conditions, it’s advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating hot or cold exposure into your routine.

Emotion Code

I discovered this healing modality after suffering from what I thought was severe allergies. I was coughing and sneezing uncontrollably; had difficulty breathing, was unable to sleep due to the constant coughing; and ended up with what I thought was a cracked rib or torn muscle in my chest. I had been to 5 different doctors, was on 5 different medications, all which did not touch my symptoms. In addition to all of this, I had been to a Chiropractor (who did X-Rays that showed no injury), Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist, and Naturopath and no one was able to fix the pain I was in. It was at this point, I was forced to take my healing in a different direction in order to get different results. I was introduced to Emotion Code which was the answer I was looking for all along. My symptoms were all caused by trapped emotions! After one session, my symptoms were completely gone and the pain was instantly released. The cause was surrounding the loss of my father several years ago. It was after my session that I knew this was my true calling and that I had to share it with everyone I know. Side note to all of this, I did end up having allergy tests done months later which revealed I am not not allergic to anything.

There comes a point in your life where you are forced to look for other answers. When you aren’t getting results from medications or different treatments, maybe it’s time to take a look inside and take a different approach to the healing that is actually needed.

What is The Emotion Code

The Emotion Code is an energy healing technique used to release emotions that have become trapped in our body from past events that have happened in our lives. Emotions that have become trapped may cause a multitude of problems such as feelings of anxiety, depression, insecurity, chronic pain, illness, disease, phobias, lack of success, love or happiness, digestive issues, lack of energy, allergy symptoms and even behavioral issues.

Emotions can become trapped when the body is in a vulnerable state or the emotion is very intense. The Emotion Code has been reported by users to alleviate many, if not all symptoms they been experiencing allowing them to live their best lives.

The subconscious mind is a universal intelligence which holds our memories. It remembers everything that has ever happened to us, even at time of conception or before that. By tapping into the subconscious mind, we are able to get the answers we need to release the emotions. It’s a completely non-invasive technique; you don’t even have to talk about the emotions that come up if you don’t want to. It’s as simple as asking if it’s related to what you are thinking in order to release it! By all means, you can certainly talk about what has come up as a part of the healing process but it’s not like a session with a therapist in which you talk about what happened.  We don’t need to talk about it in order to experience the healing effect of this process.

We can also have inherited emotions which are emotions that have been passed down to us. We can experience symptoms from these emotions that were never even ours to begin with.

The Heart Wall

Our Heart is a magnificent organ and is able to store memories; it is the core of your being, the seed of your soul. Our subconscious mind puts up a wall around the heart to protect it from feeling a certain way such as grief, it doesn’t like the way that feels.  The Heart Wall is made up of several layers of trapped emotions which have created a wall around the heart. Having a Heart Wall has been known to block a person’s ability to give and receive love; to be successful; and can even create feelings of depression and other problems. Releasing the Heart Wall has been known to change a person’s life.

What To Expect During A Session

We will identify the emotion(s) that have been trapped and the age it happened around in which the answer(s) will come from your subconscious. The answers will come from your body via the Sway Test or Muscle Testing. By revealing the emotion and what age the event happened, we are starting to peel back the layers in order to release it. If you are unsure as to what the emotion is related to, don’t worry! We can ask specific questions to determine what it was related to. Sometimes, we don’t need to know more about an emotion in order to release it.

Once the emotion is released, it won’t come back for that specific event. Once the session is done, be sure to drink lots of water. Over the next few days, you may experience symptoms much like you would during a cleanse/detox as your body is working on releasing the emotions that were trapped. It is possible to experience similar feeling much like the emotions that have been released, nausea, headache, and you may possibly feel a little tired. This is only temporary; your body is essentially going through a detox as it releases these emotions. I am only mentioning this so you aren’t alarmed if any of these things happen; you may not even experience any of these symptoms. Overall, you should experience very positive feelings and feel as though a weight has been lifted from you.

Emotion Code and Animals

The Emotion Code can even be done on animals! Trapped Emotions in animals can have the same effect on them as they do on humans and have been known to be the source of certain behavioural issues. When testing animals, we use a surrogate meaning either you as an owner, or myself, will connect with the animal in order to get the answers from their subconscious.

Distance Healing

The Emotion Code can be done on people anywhere in the world! I am able to connect with your energy/subconscious mind via Proxy, even if you are on the other side of the country. I am able to get the answers from your subconscious mind through my body in order to release any emotion(s) that have become trapped.
